Can anyone give me a detailed answer about how to be mildly successful in Mary Kay?

I am considering selling for fun. I'm in no way trying to get a pink caddy! An extra $50ish bucks a month would be nice. I'm not trying to go corporate.

Dedicate 4 hours a week your business go to the weekly training or conference call whatever you director offers. Set up account for the business and run it like a business. Go to all the training in the beginning even if you don't plan on making it your full time job treat it like a business learning everything you can it will give you the jump start you need. I have been at different places at different time in the last 3 1\2 years from Queens court of sales to just staying active but i always went to the training ( except right after having the baby ) this is where you learn about the products different ways to share the products and find what works for you and also keeps you current on comes and goings changes in the market so on. I make my meeting night my night out and invite guest so I get training and make money and occasionally get a team members. I wild say don't worry so much about how to make it work just have fun and be enthusiastic because that is what it is all about.

The other day Dooley had been getting ready for a date with Mary and had decided to put on some men's cologne that dad had sitting in the medicine cabinet. The bottle said something about its supposed powers of driving women wild and making them lose all inhibitions. That sounded good to Dooley so he splashed some on and pranced out of the bathroom to be gawked at by his thirteen younger siblings. They had been hiding behind a Stanley Home Products catalog enrapt like it was a Christmas edition with all kinds of toys and sweets. He didn't care what they thought, as he heard the first snicker, he was a grown up of eighteen now and those children could laugh all they wanted.

Finally somebody guffawed and that brought the whole bunch of them down, although the youngest few probably didn't understand what they were laughing about. In that men's cologne and the grey speckled suit he probably did look and smell different than they were used to. His ma finally came in and ran the lot out of the room and had to aim a swat at a few who were laughing so hard that they fell on the floor. She picked up the Stanley Home Products catalog and told him not to mind those young hooligans he could laugh at them when they went on their first serious dates.

She took the Stanley Home Products catalog with her as she walked out of the room and kissed him on the cheek commenting on how good that men's cologne smelled. He blushed appropriately at the compliment and headed out the door toward his car. He nervously kept checking his tie in the mirror as he drove out to Mary's folk's farm and as he started up the drive he got an even bigger charge because Mary's pa was sitting on the front stoop. He looked up from the Stanley Home Products flier he was supposedly reading and asked after the weather with a twinkle in his eye. Mary came out ready for the drive-in, told her pa to leave him alone and commented on how much she liked the men's cologne.

Turns out that he was worried about nothing. The date went without a hitch and the courtship was even better still. And he did get to laugh at all of his brothers and sisters as they went on first dates with his bride Mary by his side on the couch.

Ok to my Mary-kay stuff is great with our skin colors..my mom use it and she likes it..and it moisteruize her skin really good..and African american women need some thing with high spf like 25 or 30

What spot treatment for acne worked for you?

I have tried Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment it didn't work also Mary Kay Acne treatment Gel...and now I have Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish stick and it doesn't do much. But the main thing I would like to know is... what spot treatment works for you and how much it's it and were can i find it? A link would help too. Also what about a Clearasil spot treatment. Does that work?

Get the Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10. You can get it pretty much anywhere, I get mine from Target. It has 10% benzoyl peroxide, which seriously shrinks the pimple almost overnight. I rely heavily on this stuff hahaha. By far, it's the best spot treatment I've tried Good luck!

ps. It's about $4 (?) Something like that.

He has been caught abusing his wife, Heidi Fleiss and has been arrested on drug charges. He was caught trying to beat a drug test while using a prosthetic rather than his own anatomy to urinate into the cup. He's been in and out of prison and he has twin infant sons. It is difficult for Sizemore to land any more starring roles in film as his drug problem is constantly interfering with his success.
Mickey Rourke
Mickey was also involved in domestic violence against his wife. Rourke was charged with spousal abuse in 1994. This is scary since Rourke was a boxer for years before he stopped in 1995. He has brain damage from boxing which makes him dizzy when he's tired. He tried to commit suicide in 1998. He experienced many stressors and deaths in his immediate family. Here's a quote, "For 12 years I was alone, I had lost everything. The three people closest to me - my brother, my grandmother and my ex-wife - were no longer there. I had no real friends. Christian Bale
Talk about an actor who gets absorbed into his role completely. I am a huge fan of Christian's, but he's going to kill himself faster than Mary-Kate and Ashley. Have you seen him in The Machinist? There was absolutely nothing to him but his skeleton and skin. He gained weight and muscle since, but his body is once again skin and bone for the movie The Fighter. There is no way he's not completely malnourished from starving himself then gorging on unhealthy food to boost back up. At this rate, he won't be pretty for much longer.
Robert Downey Jr.
Robert has been arrested numerous times due his drug habit and was even fired off the set of Ally McBeal for being arrested twice. Robert claims that this period is when he hit an all time low and is not pleased with his acting performance on the show. He was addicted to drugs since he was eight years old and made many trips in and out of rehab until he finally succeeded in 2001.
These are just a few examples out of thousands of actors who have lead troubled lives. Many actors abuse alcohol and drugs. It makes you wonder if it's the limelight, the money, peer pressure or stress. Could it be that people with addictive personalities are more likely to pursue an acting career? There are so many factors involved and so many unique cases that this is difficult to determine. According to William H. Macy, "Nobody became an actor because he had a good childhood". Having a difficult home life as a child may have created the need for many actors to escape reality. Acting may not be enough for some actors to escape emotional pain. Perhaps this is when drugs become more appealing.

Why do so many people think that there is only one race and that there isn't a God?

I guess they are not teaching anything in public schools these days. Is it the teachers or the school's administration that is holding the poor children back?

I would never send my children to a public school. It's well worth the money to send your children to a private school or have them taught at home. Students taught at home are usually better prepared for college than the poor children that are forced to attend the public institutions.

With all of the Mary Kay Letourneau's out there raping children at school you know that the children are not learning anything that will help them to progress in life.

Chief Crazy Captain Christo was traveling recently(2009) and came across a news reporter to The STARS. This reporter seemed to focus on rich people a lot so Chief Crazy Captain Christo decided that Mary Hart from Entertainment Tonight fame needed a slight change in FOCUS. So he decided to disguise himself as an O-Range Blob of Light and the rest as they say is history! We interrupt the conversation on the set of Entertainment Tonight. This is a TRUE story. Mary Hart's name has been changed to Ma Ha to keep her privacy intact. On with the Pumpkin Entertainment Tonight segment of The Great Pumpkin Letters.

MA HA- " And Grant Heslov's new movie Men Who Stare At Goats starring the fabulous George Clooney and a slew of other stars is coming to a theatre near you November 6th. Hey Mark can you get that Orange light fixed. It is glaring right into my eyes . Mark, are you there Mark. Mr. Steines you hoo the Orange light is blinding me and I can't see anything..."

Little did MA HA know that Chief Crazy Captain Christo was on the set of Entertainment Tonight and had actually paid Mark Steines and Thea Andrews a compliment. So without interrupting the Good Chief Crazy Captain Christo ( disguised as the O-Range Blob of Light), they let him talk to MA HA. The O-Range Blob of Light went straight up to MA HA and offered her a laser etched gift that MA HA accepted before the fright building up inside her trembled to the surface.

MA HA- " Who are you? And what do you want with me? "

O-Range Blob of Light-" Hi! Mary Hart er I mean MA HA. I am Chief Crazy Captain Christo and I have been sent to you on behalf of The Great Pumpkin. We have seen your work and it is GOOD!

Would you like to be invited to a PARTY? Before you answer, let me finish. The party is for Warren Buffett on July 9th 2010 in Omaha. The "Party for a Purpose" will be the theme and only one news team will be allowed inside. We have deemed Entertainment Tonight as that news team that will be allowed inside. All others will be locked out. Can you attend the party MA HA? The Party for a Purpose will be revealed but I will give you a sneak peak right now!"

Through the power of the O-Range Blob of Light, MA HA was transported to the pre-construction site of " The Tree House". MA HA gazed in wide wonder at the joy she felt welling up inside her. She turned to the O-Range Blob of Light and described what she was feeling while she was watching happy construction workers who were not high or on drugs building the most beautiful place imaginable.

MA HA- " This is so beautiful. Where is it? Wow look at that. Every thing you could ever want is here. That is the most beautiful stage I have ever seen. Wow and the restaurants and the hotels and everyone is working together. Everyone is so happy and joyous! Wait a minute are these robots?

O-Range Blob of Light- " MA HA, what you are seeing is true teamwork in action. Everyone is here because they want to make this the most special place on EARTH for one little girl. In so doing, they are seeing the value of working together. It can happen anywhere but it is happening here. You have been given a sneak peak because well MA HA , without you, I probably would not have taken any action myself.

MA HA-" Chief Crazy Captain Christo, why can't I see you clearly?"

O-Range Blob of Light-" Until construction is completed, no one will see me completely. Your job MA HA is to gather up your team and help get the word out. By the way, MA HA, would you like your own complimentary backstage soundstage with lighting at the Tree House.

MA HA- " Would I! What do I have to do?

O-Range Blob of Light- " Just continue to do what you do and I will do what I do and we will meet in the middle ok MA HA?"

MA HA -" DEAL! Hey Chief Crazy Captain Christo, one question for you, I thought The Great Pumpkin was a Charles Schultz production. Aren't you afraid of lawsuits or something like that?

But with that question the O-Range Blob of Light was off the set and Mary Hart was left at Entertainment Tonight's Television set muttering to herself and her co-workers were giggling.

Wondering which microdermabrasion product would be best for skin discoloration to restore skin back to original color from sun tan. The 3 i'm wondering about are: Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At Home MicroDermabrasion System, Mary Kay, or Youthful Essence. Also, which one would be best to use for constant sun exposure, or even a good sun block to use.

I use nothing except L'oreal. I use Refinish Gentle micro-Dermabrasion Exfoliator.Then I apply L`oreal Advanced Revitalist Complete Lotion with SPF15 sunscreen and its fragrance free. I also use in between days L`oreal Age Perfect with Marine Collagen+SPF 15 Sunscreen. At night I apply L`oreal wrinkle De-Crease. Its Advanced Wrinkle Corrector & Dermo-Smoother. I use this at night because it doesn`t have a sunscreen. I have been using L`oreal products for years.

Do you know where I can buy discontinued MARY KAY ANGELFIRE Eau De Toilette NIB?

And I want to buy it at my consultant price, not the marketed up retail price. I already know the ones on E-Bay and I am bidding on the ones there that are reasonable. I want the best price so that I can still sell to my customer at the normal retail price of $17.00.

The best advice I can give you is to ask around to other consultants to see if they have any. Have your director send emails to other directors to send to their consultants. Someone out there has some to sell to you at your cost.

I personally wouldn't purchase from ebay, however, I have asked the company if they have had any complaints from touchofpinkcosmetics.com and a couple of others, to which they said they had not.

I think those sites are consultants who get together to sell the discontinued items at a fair price.

I am obsessed (no joke) with Arbonne's RE9 line. It's amazing. That's seriously all I can say. I had my baggage delayed at the airport the other day (I still haven't received it), and my beloved RE9 is in there. It's probably my most looked-forward to item in the whole bag (which contains much more important stuff!). My skin is crying for it

looking for those who either sell, or use MK. what do u thinkof the new MK mineral powder? velocity facial cleanser and lightweight moisturizer. and or satin lips.
i won a $100 in MK products and i ordered the satin lips, velocity, eye make up remover, oil absorbing tissues, plus som other stuff. and on the side i ordered the mineral powder along with its 'special brush'. but i would like to know how many times a day should i use the velocity?

Hi! I'm not sure how old you are, but the Velocity products are for the under 20 age group. You will want to use the cleanser and moisturizer when you shower in the morning as well as before you go to bed for the best results. If you're a bit older, you might want to consider getting the Time-Wise products after you've used the Velocity.

You've made some good choices. Satin Lips is awesome, and our Mary Kay lipsticks can actually be used over the lip balm. The new Mineral Powder foundation is awesome - I wear it solely myself - lightweight, transfer-resistant, and it allows your skin to breathe.
