Oily Acne Prone Skin with Scars and Large Pores...HELP!!?

I feel like I'm constanlty battling my skin. I wear makeup but I hate wearing it but I feel like I look sick without it. I've tried hundreds of different products just to feel like a normal human being with clear skin. I don't and never have had that clear skin confidence that people always talk about, in fact I have rather low self-esteem and I'm now 20 years old. I just want to go one day without thinking about how bad my skin looks to the person beside me or the person I'm conversing with. I've always had acne although it's not as bad as it used to be. I've been looking at the Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Refinisher and have been thinking about trying it, reguardless of the price. Any tips or tricks you guys know about different foundations or something to help clear my skin will defenitely help.

my at home facial:
fill a pot with water and depending on if u hav oily skin put peppermint in the water or if u hav dry skin use rosemary. boil the water while ur waiting for the water to boil use a facial scrub to wash ur face when ur done and the water is boiling turn off the heat and steam ur face put a towl over ur head to trap steam. steam for ten minutes then wash ur face with a regular cream or soap cleanser not the scrub. then if u hav black heads u can put a biore strip when thats done put on a mask like anykind rly i use a mint julep mask from st. helene u can get it at walgreens or sometimes i use the clinique mask...wait for that to dry u can put cucumbers on ur eyes while it dries. then when its dried u can wash it off and apply toner and moisturizer and thats pretty much it!!! it works wonders oh yea u only do this every other week or so if u do it to often it burns ur skin!!! good luck.
as for that pore minimizer i like the clinique one it called like warming pore minimizer

Whats a gentle but effective facial exfoliant?

I was using Estee Lauder's idealist but it's too burning for me. The kind with sand and nuts will tear my skin because I'm rather sensitive. The st. Ives apricot for example, too harsh. I wanted to try philosophy's never let the see you shine exfoliatant since the purity is so amazing... but it has a PH of 7.5!! That is really toalkalinene for the skin.

The Preterist school believes that the symbolism of the Book of Revelation relates only to the happenings of the day in which it was written. All the imagery of the seals and trumpets and the vials has no bearings on the future. The author was simply expressing his moral indignation in relation to the abuses of his own day when he spoke of future judgement. This is the belief of the majority of liberal scholars, such as R. H. Charles and C. C. Torrey. Also, this viewpoint has the advantage of connecting Revelation with the thought and historical events of the time period in which it was written. However, it makes no allowance for any element of predictive prophecy.

The second type of interpretation is the Historical viewpoint, which believes that the Book of Revelation depicts the entire course of Christian history from the time of the author until the completion of the ages. The various seals, trumpets, and bowls are regarded as chronologically successive, marking important stages in the making of the Christian Church, especially in the west. Since the Revelation starts with the status of the churches of Asia, which were obviously contemporaneous with the time of writing, and ends with the final conflict with evil and the development of the City of God in the indefinite future, it seemed only reasonable to conclude that the material between these two termini should deal with the intervening historical process. The main difficulty with this belief is that the intervening time period is of undefined length, and that the identification of any one of the symbols with a particular historical event must necessarily be uncertain. It may be possible to make a connection between each symbol and certain known events to have subsequent years prove that the identification was erroneous. Also, the Historical viewpoint, which tries to interpret the Apocalypse by the starting of the church in the last nineteen centuries, seldom if ever takes cognizance of the church outside of Europe. This viewpoint is concerned primarily with the period of the Middle Ages and the Reformation and has relatively little to say of developments after 1500 A. D.

Actually, there are two branches of the Historical viewpoint. (1) The older branch, represented in the Reformation, tried to identify historical events in European and Church history with the events described in the Book of Revelation 4 through 16. Revelation was believed to march chronologically from the 1st through the 18th centuries. (2) Then the younger branch is common in this day among many different denominations which believe that the Book of Revelation is a non-chronological panorama of history.

The Futurist viewpoint believes that the material in the Book of Revelation 4 through 16 is a picture of future events, which relate specifically to the end of the age. None of the material in these chapters is connected with the past or the present. Instead, Revelation is believed to portray the Great Tribulation period spoken of by the Old Testament prophets and by Jesus (Matt. 24-26).

Lastly, the Idealist viewpoint believes the Book of Revelation is symbolic, with no relationship to events or persons in history or at the end of time. Instead, Revelation is taken to use figures familiar to first century readers to represent the general conflict between good and evil.

Is este lauder day wear plus worth it?

I've been using a sample of it, and yeah, my skin looks great, but I attribute that to the idealist skin refresher. Does anyone think it is worth it? Becuase I cant tell.
