semi perminant dye on bleached hair?
i have about 6 thickish streaks of bleach in my hair and i have bought "live xxl duo intense" colour toner in a violet colour.It lasts 24 washes.
I bleached the streaks about 3 weeks ago and i am dying it with the violet in a weeks time.
on the packaging it says we RECCOMEND not using it over bleached hair but doesn't have any WARNING on it.
what is the worst that can happen with dying over a SMALL amount of bleach with a semi permanent dye?
is it a risk worth taking?
the reason why this is not recommended it because the bleach will "soak" up the purple causing it to be a bright purple, and also as its a semi it could turn into a perminate on the bleach.
as it is a semi colour there is no prob with the hair breaking or anything so dont worry. the worst that would happen is you will have brighter purple on the bleached bits. which would still look good.
