How bad do you think im damaging/damaged my hair? I recently started striaghtening my hair. I use a Conair 3/4
straightener. Now, I do not use a heat protective spray. However, at first, i only straightened it 2x a week. In the last week however, ive straigtened it maybe 5 times, but that is a rougue week. Also, when i striaghten it, it takes about 3 minutes and about 12 or 15 strokes in TOTAL...if that, like, my hair is not exposed to the heat for long becuase it really takes no time to straighten it, but i must say, it makes the BIGGEST difference in the world. I use Doves shamp+conditioner for dry/damaged hair. I also use Dove's SHEER MOISTURE" spray from time to time, though not a whole lot. When I straighten it, it makes my hair feel wonderful and soft and everything. It even makes it lighter and it still looks great. So as of now, there is none of that fried dmg.
So can someone tell me how worried I should be about damging my hair? I'd like to straghten my hair 4-5x a week, what should i do? Remember that it takes me only a few strokes to straten and i don't ever blow dry my hair Thax!
I wouldn't be worried at all! I straitghen my hair every day, it takes me longer then that and I rarely use hair products to protect it. My hair feels great! I also recently used box color to color it brown, hated it stripped the color and dyed it all within a week, and it's still silky smooth and shiny. Hair is tougher then you think
