Is this a safe way to tan?

I want to get a tan and i just got done doing what I will call a 15-15. I applied sunscreen SPF 30, 15 minutes before i went outside, got a 15 min tan laying on my back, then applied more sunscreen and laid on my tummy for 15 min more.

So is this an ok method or is there a better way to get a tan in the sun without using any special tanning solution(you know the ones that give you a tan by application).

I'm male, 27 and healthy. I brought out sunglasses, a towel, cold drink, and the sunscreen i am using is called Dry Sport by TopCare and is says very water and sweat resistant.

If this is an ok time frame to get a tan should i wait a few days and tan again or should i do it on a daily basis when its at the right times and of course not raining?

Its not healthy to tan at all. but yes you are doing fine. though your using alot of sunscreen so i dont know if the would get tan by using so much. but if ur getting tan keep doing it and keep using sunscreen so u dont get burnt cause that realy bad. keep on with the procedure it sounds great!
