I need a contractor who can hydro test a 35000 bbl tank in cedar rapids IA using water from coralville lake?
The water must be pumped out of corralville lake into a water truck, transported 1 mile south on hwy 965 to the BP terminal on the east side of the road and pumped into a newly constructed 75 foot diameter, 48 foot tall tank. This operation should be continued until the tank is full. The hydrotest will last 24 hours. After 24 hours the water will be drained out of the tank onsite.
This doesn't sound particularly difficult, you should be able to find a local contractor to transport the water. What you should be worrying about is the differential pressure you'll get in the tank with it being 48 feet tall and what effect that will have on the test pressure at the bottom of the tank.
