How to deal with a burn from Retin A?
I do not have acne but am using Retin A .1% for sun damage/ageing skin. I know there is a period of time where your skin looks worse but I have horrible burns on my chin right now. I have stopped the Retin A until they heal, but is there anything I can do to help the burns heal? I have spent the last 2 days inside because not even make-up can cover it.
I am using a perscription bactroban ointment to help, but it is really discolored and looks horrible. I am using Neocutis Bio Crea, on the rest of my face. Any advice, though to help this heal faster so I look presentable?
I plan on asking my doc for a lower dose ( I used.1% before with no issues, but it has been about a year. I think I jumped in too quickly this time with using it every night.)
just let it pass but Neutrogena has an acne cream that cools the acne and reduces redness and it's $9 bucks so you could try that.
get a lower dose
Many thanks for reading our Neocutis Bio article
