has anyone used avon porefection products?

how well do they work? i'm an adult with oily skin and occasional breakouts and i thought that i would try this line. so far i havent had any problems but i wondered if anyone else had used the line. i tried proactive but it was a little too harsh on my skin. now i just use their skin mattifier to keep some of the oil away.

Not all "complete" lines of skin regimen work well together. I've found out with testing that pulling and combining different products depending on what tends to work better on you works just fine and you end up more content because you make your own choices. Some of the products I've used for my combo/oily are (Avon Clearskin Invigoration cleansing scrub) mildly every other day for exfoliation and it's minty sensation. I wouldn't recommend you using the cleanser because it contains 2% salicylic acid, which will dry your complexion. As a daily toner I use (Dickinson's witch hazel formula @ drugstores $5), which is non-drying and has really worked much, much better than the more expensive brands. I've recommended this (Dickinson's astringent) to several family members for acne and I've used it on my 6 mo. baby for eczema and has worked like a miracle. During the summer I also spray (Burt's Bees pink grapefruit mist $8). The mist helps me look refreshed and keeps the oils away. I've spent from $5 to over $120 on brands but I DO stick to whatever works on me and if it doesn't I always know I tried it and can help someone else. Hope I HELPED YOU!!!
