Has anybody ever used this acne gel before?
I just got a new prescription for Epiduo gel. It's a new gel that just came out actually. Well, I was wondering if anybody has ever used it before so I can see some different results from different people.
If anybody knew how much it cost, then that would be great too. Thank you for reading this and please answer if you can.
My doc prescribed that to me last wednesday. My doc said that Epiduo is like the next generation of Differin because it uses the same ingredients but also has benzoyl peroxide. I've been using it once a day every night before I go to bed. My skin has gotten noticeably clearer. It just burns when you put it on and your face turns slightly red. But, that goes away in a couple of minutes. Be careful not to rub your face on clothing, towels, bedsheets, etc because it will bleach those items. Make sure you wear a non-comedogenic sunscreen with spf because your skin will be more sensitive to the sun and will dry out.
At CVS the price for Epiduo is $45 but my doc gave me a rebate card that I could use three times for Epiduo. I get $35 off each time and the amount was automatically deducted at the register so I only paid $10.
